Description: Fire works are full of elements, like magnesium and things that go BOOM!!! We use fire works on the 4th of July, New Year’s Eve, and the people in Columbia use them on Christmas Eve!!

My prediction of what elements are in fireworks is: calcium, magnesium, and lithium, because they all explode on contact with oxygen.

Fireworks are made up of:

Green: barium

Silver: calcium, aluminum

Red: lithium, calcium, stronium

Yellow/Gold: sodium, lithium

Smoke clouds: zinc

Glitter effects: antimony

Sparks/Flames/Ignited: aluminum, phosphorous, iron, magneseum
